In the foreground, a man in a saffron-orange robe with long hair and a red-and-white forehead mark kneels and bows toward a brass lamp or kalasha at a fire pit, with smoke rising. Behind him, a man in white ritual clothes stands near a central figure in white and a large silver-toned vessel, with a few other white-clad people and a red-and-orange decorated pillar in the background. The scene suggests a homa with offerings, and white smoke fills the right side. The page describes this as a Chandi homa at Kaliamman temple in Kavunthapadi, but the image itself shows only the ritual setting and devotees.June 05 20122012-06-05 +1 copiesJune 05 20122012-06-05
