Photograph of a temple tank with stepped red-tiered sides and a central stone shrine topped by a black linga-like structure with fountain jets. Many people in white clothes wade in the water around a decorated palanquin or float with orange and green floral garlands and a red flag, while others stand along the steps. A crowd of onlookers in saris and white dhotis lines the edge at dusk, and a multi-storey building stands in the background.
