A photograph of a home visit in a plain interior room with a doorway and window grille. A long-haired man in an orange-red top and orange wrap sits low on a white sheet, smiling broadly as standing devotees gather around him. A man in a white shirt with a rudraksha mala and a black-and-white pen clipped to his pocket leans in, while another in a white shirt and grey trousers laughs nearby. A woman in a teal and maroon sari and a woman in white stand behind them, and several men in white shirts and dhotis press palms together in greeting at right. Probable Swamiji (probable) appears as the seated central figure, identified by long swept-back hair and saffron-orange clothing.2009-08-08A photograph of a crowded room in a plain house with white walls and a window with grille. In the centre, a man in a white shirt, white trousers and a dark rudraksha mala gestures with raised hands toward a kneeling woman in a white and gold-bordered sari with a yellow blouse, her palms pressed together. Behind her, a woman in an orange-and-red top with green flowers in her hair faces them, hand raised. Around them stand a dozen or more women and a few men in white and pastel saris and white shirts, plus a small child in white on the left. No appearance-based a person candidate is clearly identifiable, so the person in the centre is described by role only.2009-08-08August 08 20092009-08-08August 08 20092009-08-08August 08 20092009-08-08A photograph inside a tiled room in a house, with a crowd of devotees gathered. In the centre, a long-haired person in a saffron-orange robe kneels on the floor, raising one palm toward an older man in a white dhoti and grey-green shirt who stands with hands pressed together in namaste. Behind them a man in a white shirt with a black rudraksha mala and a woman in a white sari with a blue border hold a brass plate. Several women in white and yellow saris and a man in a light shirt stand nearby. Appearance cues for the kneeling figure are not sufficiently distinctive, so the figure is described by role only. Doorway and window frame the background.2009-08-08A photograph of a house visit in an indoor room with cream walls. A long-haired person in an orange-red garment and a garland of green fruits sits on the floor at lower right, appearing to be a sannyasi; the appearance cues are a long swept-back hairstyle and an orange garment, but these are not sufficient to confirm identity, so this is a sannyasi/guest role. Around him, a man in white shirt and dark rudraksha-style mala gestures while speaking. Several devotees in white dhotis and white saris with gold borders stand or kneel with folded hands, and a woman in a blue sari with gold jewellery kneels with hands pressed together. Several others crowd the doorway behind them.2009-08-08A photograph of a devotional gathering indoors on a pale wall. In the foreground, a man in a blue-grey patterned shirt kneels with palms pressed together before a woman in an orange top and red blouse, whose long black hair is decorated with a flower garland and a bead necklace hangs at her neck. Behind them, a standing man in a white shirt and white dhoti wears a dark rudraksha mala, and several elderly women in saris and white attire stand with hands folded or joined. Other people in white clothing stand around the room, and metal bowls sit on the floor near the right edge.2009-08-08A photograph of a crowded indoor room with cream walls and a tiled floor. In the foreground, a long-haired man in an orange-red sleeveless top and an orange cloth sits cross-legged, wearing a rudraksha mala and facing away toward the group. Nearby, a man in white shirt and white dhoti bends forward with his hands together in greeting. A woman in a yellow sari holds a small pink-and-green cloth doll, while a young man in white with a red shawl stands barefoot nearby. Several other people in white and orange clothing stand around, some looking on. The foreground figure's face is not visible, so the identity of the seated figure is uncertain; he appears to be a sannyasi in saffron-red attire wearing a rudraksha mala.2009-08-08August 08 20092009-08-08August 09 20092009-08-09August 08 20092009-08-08
