In the foreground, a small gold-framed shrine with a red and gold backdrop holds a small murti decorated with a red garland, pink flowers and yellow blossoms, with a crown-like ornament on its head. Behind it stands a large printed cutout photograph of a smiling man in a maroon turban with a bindi, wearing rudraksha malas and white and yellow flower garlands, with both hands raised in blessing over a maroon robe. A shawl-draped figure and wooden furniture are visible at the edges of the room. The cutout is a printed image, not a physical person, and it presents its subject with a turban, rudraksha malas and saffron-maroon clothing.2026-02-06KAILASA UNITED KINGDOM on 10/21/20202020-10-21KAILASA UNITED KINGDOM on 10/17/20202020-10-17A life-size cutout portrait of a smiling man in a red turban, red saffron-toned robe, rudraksha mala, and red and yellow flower garlands stands behind a worship altar. In front, a large polished brass kalasha-style vessel holds flowers, a yantra plate and offerings on a dark cloth with gold leaf trim. Yellow marigolds and pink and purple flowers decorate the altar. At the left stands a small framed picture of a multi-headed deity, and a brass oil lamp burns at the lower left beside a conch shell. No physical people are visible. The scene reflects a puja or lagu puja setting.2024-09-15A decorated shrine arrangement with three gilded deity murtis on golden arched thrones: on the left a silver-toned figure with a trident and peacock feather, in the centre a small dark-skinned murti in a garland, and on the right a murti in a white and gold embroidered dress, all draped in pink rose garlands. Behind them a large printed portrait shows a smiling man in an orange turban, orange robes and a multi-strand rudraksha mala, a printed picture rather than a physical person. Hanging bells, tassels, white flower garlands and a small bird ornament frame the scene. No physical people are visible.2020-10-20KAILASA DHUMBARAI, NEPAL on 5/16/20212021-05-16 +1 copiesTest PicturesA worship shrine in a wooden cabinet.
