A seated assembly of saffron-robed monks and devotees fills a hall with red curtains. In the front row, several young disciples in orange robes with rudraksha malas sit cross-legged on the floor, one bald-headed man in an orange robe with a white forehead mark sits with hands folded, and a young boy with a shaved head and white tilak sits near the lower right. Behind them, men in white shirts and orange or red shawls sit in rows, many wearing orange sashes and lanyards. Brass vessels and small ritual objects are placed on the floor before the group, and a metal chain barrier runs along the front.
