A man seated on an ornate gold throne carved with lion heads, draped in a tiger-striped cloth, wearing a rust-red and gold-bordered dhoti and shawl, a matching red and gold turban with a small ornament, a rudraksha mala draped across the chest, and gold bangles and white ash markings on his arms. Brass bells hang from chains and brass oil lamps sit beside the throne, with brass plates of offerings at the lower right. The seated figure wears a red-orange turban with a silver emblem, a deep red-orange robe, and a long rudraksha mala with gold-toned beads; they hold a silver staff in one hand and gesture with the other while smiling. Brass bells hang from above and dark maroon velvet drapes form the backdrop. A single person is present; the throne and lions are not people. Swamiji (probable) is seated in the centre, identified by the turban, rudraksha mala and ornate saffron-red clothing, while the presence of a throne alone is not treated as identification.2014-11-19A man seated on an ornate gold throne with carved lion-head armrests and a tiger-striped cushion, pressing his palms together in a namaste greeting and smiling.
