A photograph inside an orange-and-red tented pavilion at a Kumbh Mela event. A crowd of mostly women in colourful saris and head coverings sits on green mats facing a raised dais. On the dais, a deity murti sits under a gilded arch, with a seated figure in orange robes and a golden throne nearby; a robed figure in white stands at the front. Camera crews on tripods film the scene. Two framed portraits hang at the top corners of the tent, and vertical banners with blue and gold trim decorate the poles.
