A photograph of a shrine altar with an ornate gold-toned arched canopy and a golden base carved with floral and divine motifs, draped with green, yellow and gold striped silk cloths. At the centre stands a silver-toned shiva lingam decorated with a jeweled silver necklace, a garland and a crown-like ornament, with a lit oil lamp flame burning before it. On the left a bare human arm extends from the frame, holding a small ritual implement near the lamp, indicating an arati or puja in progress. The background is a dark blue wall with faint smoke.

Beneath it hangs a tall silver trident-shaped form with a silver garland and pendant, draped with red and blue fabric, set on an ornate silver pedestal with green polka-dot cloth wrapped around its base. To the left, a hand holds a silver vessel with a lit oil flame and rising smoke against a dark blue backdrop. The scene suggests a Shiva puja or abhishekam. The lingam is adorned with a silver-framed backdrop with an arched silver prabhavali above it, a silver crescent-and-trident face with a crown-like top, and layered jewelled necklaces in red, green and blue stones. Green and yellow silk cloths with gold borders drape down the pedestal sides, and white flower petals are scattered around the base. The golden arched frame and tiered gold base are decorated with floral garlands in red and orange, and a red and gold cloth drapes the base. Smoke rises in the dim room against dark maroon curtains.
