He lifts a large golden alankaram with a tall arched frame, silver-toned ornaments, blue gemstones and a garland of red flowers. Behind him a brass oil lamp burns with a flame against a dark maroon backdrop, with smoke rising. A red flower sits on the lingam base. The scene reflects Shiva puja at a temple.2022-04-28 +1 copiesA shirtless priest in white dhoti with a sacred thread stands with his back to the camera, holding a lit oil lamp (aarti) toward an ornate golden structure. The golden arched frame and tiered gold base are decorated with floral garlands in red and orange, and a red and gold cloth drapes the base. Smoke rises in the dim room against dark maroon curtains. The priest appears to be performing an aarti offering during the Varsha Kumbhabhishekam ceremonies at KAILASA Houston.2022-03-01KAILASA HOUSTON, USA on 5/29/20222022-05-29 +1 copiesKAILASA HOUSTON, USA on 3/1/20222022-03-01Photo 99230522022-05-29 +1 copiesKAILASA HOUSTON, USA on 3/1/20222022-03-01A four-panel collage of a temple ritual in a dark-curtained shrine room. In each panel a shaved-headed priest with a bare upper body wears a white dhoti with a gold border and a sacred thread, and performs aarti with lamps before a tall gilded arch-shaped frame decorated with red and yellow marigold garlands. Behind the frame are a gold-covered altar and an orange and gold cloth, and a small brass lamp stands in the lower right. Smoke and flames rise from the lamps. No one else is visible, and the collage shows abhishekam-style worship at a deity shrine.2022-03-01KAILASA HOUSTON USA On February 15, 20262026-02-14 +1 copiesKAILASA HOUSTON, USA on 5/29/20222022-05-29 +1 copiesA shirtless priest seen from behind, wearing a white dhoti with a red-and-gold border and a beaded mala around his neck, scatters white flower petals with his raised right arm before a gilded ornamental arch and shrine.
