A decorated palanquin-style float, a ratha or kanwar-like canopy, is carried on wooden poles by two men at a riverside. The canopy is draped in red and pink fabric with fringe, woven with colourful plastic flowers, orange and yellow garlands, tinsel and ribbons, with black cords hanging from the frame. Behind it stand reddish-brown walls and green trees under a hazy sky. In the foreground, the man on the right wears a white-and-orange shawl and a rudraksha-style mala, and the man on the left wears a white shirt. A small deity image is visible inside the canopy. Two people are visible, carrying the float.
