A man in white dhoti and shirt leans forward to light a tall brass oil lamp garlanded with orange and yellow flowers, while a man in a striped white shirt with a cream shawl holds out his hand to him. Around the lamp, small coloured rangoli dots decorate the floor. A man with long hair in orange robes and a rudraksha mala stands with palms joined, and several monks in orange robes with beaded necklaces stand nearby. A framed portrait of a standing robed figure hangs on the wall behind them.2008-01-14July 27 20082008-07-27A photograph inside a small room with pale green walls decorated with pastel paper balloons and blue and silver tinsel streamers. A man with a shaved head, white and orange tilak on his forehead and an orange-gold cloth draped over his shoulder stands at left, facing the camera area with a camera lens visible at the edge. A central figure in a rust-brown robe wears a long garland of white flowers interwoven with red, blue and purple strands, and rudraksha beads on his chest; he holds a brass oil lamp with a flame and smiles while lowering his gaze. Behind them a woman in a white sari with a red border stands with palms pressed together in prayer, and another person is partly visible at the back. A metal grilled window is in the background. Their dress shows the ritual setting of a padapuja-style visit. The central figure may be a person, identified by a distinctive long hairstyle, rudraksha malas and a flower garland, but this is appearance-based and uncertain.2014-07-03December 24 20082008-12-24 +1 copiesNovember 11 20062006-11-11October 18 20102010-10-18 +1 copiesA photo of a group in a bright hall with pale green walls and a polished tile floor. In the centre, a man in an orange robe with long dark hair and a rudraksha mala stands beside a tall brass oil lamp with lit wicks, garlanded with orange flowers, while a man in a white dhoti and striped shawl tends the lamp. Nearby, orange-robed monks with necklaces stand with hands folded, a man in a white shirt and dhoti watches, and a woman in a white sari with a black jacket stands at right. A framed picture of a seated figure hangs on the back wall, and a few flower petals lie in a pink-and-green floor design beneath the lamp.2008-01-14
