The elderly man holds a small stick. Behind them a bald man with a red mark on his forehead, wearing a saffron-orange shawl and beaded necklace, sits on the floor, and a camera operator with a tripod stands in the background. A gold peacock-like finial rests on a table. Swamiji (probable) is the seated man on the throne, identified by the ornate gold throne, long swept-back hair, ceremonial beads and orange robe; he is applying tilak to the elderly devotee.2015-07-19A bald, white-bearded man sits on an ornate gold-and-orange velvet throne, bare-chested with a long reddish-brown cloth, a rudraksha mala and a dark beaded necklace, white ash markings on his arms and chest, and a beaded band across his head. He holds a small silver container and lifts a hand over the head of a kneeling man in a white shirt and white dhoti with a yellow border, who bows low. Behind them, a man in orange robes sits on a second throne, and several men in orange and saffron turbans and robes sit or stand in the background beside gold carved pillars and a golden chair with a figure in red and orange. A red carpet covers the floor. The bearded man has distinctive long-hair and adornment cues only weakly visible, so identity is uncertain.2015-08-30August 30 20152015-08-30May 14 20122012-05-14 +1 copiesMay 28 20122012-05-28 +1 copiesA photograph of a seated ceremonial figure on a golden ornate throne with a red cushion, eyes closed and smiling. He wears a maroon-brown robe with an orange shawl, long gold bead necklaces, a large gold pendant, rudraksha bracelets, a gold earring and a white tripundra with a red bindi on his forehead. Beside him, a devotee in a white dhoti and bare chest bends forward and touches his upper arm, while a golden figurine stands at the lower right. Behind them hang red drapes. Person in throne-like seat with distinctive long hair, gold adornments and saffron shawl; Swamiji (probable), receiving a blessing or puja from a devotee in white.2017-07-03Indoor photograph in a room with yellow walls and orange curtains. A seated person in a brown-orange robe, wearing a yellow and red flower garland, gold necklaces, gold bangles and an armband, with a tilak on the forehead and hair in a bun, smiles and extends a hand. An older man in a white shirt and white trousers with glasses leans forward with palms pressed together in greeting, bowing to them. A brown upholstered chair with a carved wooden back and an orange cushion sits beside them. Another person in orange robes is partly visible in the background. The scene reads as a devotee offering respect to a seated figure, consistent with a darshan moment.2014-06-28May 28 20122012-05-28 +1 copies
