Outdoor photo of a grassy field with tall dry grass in the foreground and scattered trees behind, under an overcast sky. A tall man in an orange saffron robe with a dark rudraksha mala stands at centre-right, long dark hair swept back, one hand raised to his head. Beside him, a bearded man in an orange robe with hands folded stands at centre-left. Other people in white dhotis and kurtas and a few in orange robes stand around the field, one older man bending forward at far right. A young man in white kurta and white dhoti stands with arms crossed at left. The tall robed figure may be a person based on the long swept hair, saffron robe and rudraksha mala, though the appearance is not conclusive.

In the centre, a young man in a long saffron-orange wrap walks barefoot in sandals, with a red undergarment visible. Beside and behind him, a line of devotees in white and cream clothes with gold borders carry water bottles and wear thin beaded necklaces. On the right, another orange-clad figure in an orange kurta and wrap walks alongside, and a woman in white with a red forehead mark walks at the edge. Some participants wear white shirts and bright shawls. The scene reads as a sannyasi-led walking procession or pilgrimage on a country road.2009-08-08Outdoor photo on grassy ground of a bhoomi puja at a construction site. A figure with long dark hair in an orange robe bends low to place items on the grass, a steel plate of offerings with flowers, a stick and incense at the centre. A kneeling man in an orange robe and shaved head beside a brass vessel prepares the rites. Behind them, about six women in white saris with orange shawls stand with palms pressed in prayer. The figure with long hair and orange robe is a person depiction in person: long swept hair and orange robes with rudraksha mala cues, though the face is not used for identity.2008-04-01Outdoor photograph of a bhoomi puja on a grassy field with scrubby trees behind. A central figure with long dark hair, a rudraksha mala and orange robes bends forward, using a long rod to work at the ground beside a small brass bowl, a tray and lamps. To the left, a man in orange robes holds a tray of offerings. Behind them, a row of women in white saris with orange and yellow shawls stand with palms pressed together. The central figure's cues are long swept hair, orange clothing and a mala, which give a probable identity label as a person performing the ground ritual.2008-04-01April 01 20082008-04-01April 01 20082008-04-01April 01 20082008-04-01Outdoor photograph of a grassy field edged with trees under an overcast sky, showing a Bhoomi Puja land ceremony.
