A dark stage shows a large white translucent screen lit from the front, on which a shadow play is projected. On the right, four colourful flat leather shadow puppets stand in a row, one with a pink face and dark hair, another in a yellow and red costume, a red-faced figure with a headdress, and a tall figure in a grey cap. On the left, a dim grey silhouette of a standing person appears on the screen.
