A photograph of a large grey lingam, a Shiva linga, being anointed on a metal scaffold platform. A woman in an orange-red sari with a gold necklace stands at the top, holding a white offering vessel toward the lingam. Beside her, a man in an orange-red dhoti and shawl with a white tilak and gold necklace holds a white item. Below on the stairs, more people in orange-red robes and white offering items assist. A multicoloured garland of red, yellow, white and green flowers wraps the top of the lingam, and a silver band encircles its base. The sky is pale white.
