Photograph of a ritual scene with several shaven-headed men in white and gold-bordered dhotis. In the centre, a man with a tilak on his forehead and a dark rudraksha mala around his neck stands with palms pressed together in prayer, eyes lifted. A man at left, seen from behind with bare shoulders, extends his arm toward the centre and holds a small handful of offering grains. At right, a man in an orange and gold cloth with gold beaded necklaces holds his hands together. A dark curtain forms the background. No clearly identifiable a person figure is present; the central figure's appearance is insufficient to attribute identity.

Photo of a devotional exchange in an indoor hall. A smiling man with swept-back dark hair, a red bindi, white dhoti and shawl, and layered rudraksha malas is handing a red apple-like fruit to a man in a white shirt on the left. Around them, several men in white and one man in orange robes stand close, some with hands cupped to receive. White flower garlands are visible in the lower left.

A group of shaved-headed men in white dhoti-style cloths with gold borders stand in a hall, several holding grains or rice in cupped hands. The man at left, wearing glasses, holds a handful of grain toward a companion, and a man in the centre wears an orange robe and rudraksha beads. Others stand with hands folded in prayer or receive offerings, and white vertical marks are visible on several foreheads. A projector screen is behind them. The scene suggests a ritual offering or distribution of grain among practitioners.

A photograph of a temple pada puja scene with several people seated close together. In the centre, a shaved-headed man in white dhoti and white shawl with red border wears a gold bead necklace and dark glasses, holding folded paper in his cupped hands. Behind him, a woman in a white sari with gold border and a dark mala stands with eyes closed. At left, a bespectacled man and a woman in white with a yellow cloth look down, and a man in orange holds a microphone in the background. Vibhuti marks show on several foreheads. Nobody is shown as a person; the central man is a devotee or priest.

A night-time photograph of an outdoor ritual gathering. In the foreground, a shaved-headed man in a dark red-brown shawl over a plain garment stands beside an older man in a white shirt with a red shawl and a rudraksha-style beaded neck cord. Behind them, several people in saffron-orange and white robes are bent forward or kneeling, one in a white dhoti with gold borders bending low over an object. Oil lamps glow at the left edge, and blurred figures in white and orange stand in the background near a dark pillar and a garlanded structure. The people are mostly in devotional postures. No clearly identifiable a person figure is evident in the frame.
