In the centre, a man in an orange saffron dhoti and shawl with a white band across his forehead walks forward, and beside him a man in orange robes with a red sash holds a folded white paper. Behind them, several men and women in white dhotis, white shirts and orange or red sashes follow in procession. The floor is worn stone with dark stains, and the scene feels like a padayatra along a temple path.2009-01-29September 18 20062006-09-18September 18 20062006-09-18July 28 20082008-07-28September 18 20062006-09-18Photograph of a group of barefoot men walking through a dim stone-pillared temple corridor on a granite-paved floor, under fluorescent light. Several wear saffron-orange dhotis and shawls, while others wear white kurtas and white dhotis with red-bordered cloth. The man on the far right in a long orange robe with a white forehead mark holds his hands folded at his chest. A man second from left in orange holds a small white paper and reads it. A woman in a pale sari walks among them. Behind them, shops and lamps are visible in the corridor. Several figures walk in a line, consistent with a padayatra procession.2009-01-29
