Outdoor view of a large decorated Durga murti on a stepped white and red platform beneath a covered open-air shelter. The multi-armed goddess stands atop a golden-maned lion, flanked by two smaller female attendant figures in silver-white embellished garments, with a silver tiered halo arching behind her. Marigold and red flower garlands drape the base, with brass pots and vessels set on the ground in front and a blue draped cloth covering the pedestal. Trees and a brick-coloured earth mound sit in the background, and no people are visible.

In the right foreground, a seated figure in a red-brown robe and a silver ornate chair/peetha receives ritual attention while a standing attendant in a rust-coloured robe waves a white chamara fan. Below, many people in orange and saffron head cloths and robes sit on the floor facing the altar, with silver and brass ritual vessels and oil lamps on the dais and a silver kalasha-like structure at right. White and pink cloth canopies hang overhead.2017-09-28October 11 20132013-10-11
