He wears a rudraksha mala around his neck and his bare feet rest on a red footstool. Behind him stand brass lamps and vessels on a stone platform, a dark carved deity murti in a niche, and a red-and-pink wall with a hanging curtain.2010-09-08January 15 20162016-01-15February 20 20112011-02-20 +1 copiesNovember 02 20112011-11-02A man seated in a golden throne decorated with garlands of yellow marigolds, purple and red flowers, and white blossoms, with a floral arch behind him. He wears an orange-saffron robe with a gold border, a long gold-beaded necklace and rudraksha-style beads, and his hands are pressed together in namaskar. Golden lion-like armrests and flower garlands surround the dais, with a woven bamboo-textured backdrop behind. Flowers and water bottles sit on the dais at the sides. The seated figure has long, swept-back hair and distinctive saffron and ornate gold clothing, consistent with a Swamiji (probable) seated on the throne during a formal reception.2009-12-27
