Outdoor river scene under a pale cloudy sky. A bare-chested man in an orange saffron cloth and orange head wrap sits on a flat stone at the water's edge, reflected in the shallow brown water. Two boys stand in the river to the right, one holding a long pole. A woven bamboo basket rim sits in the foreground, with green trees and a sandbank along the far shore.

In the foreground on wet sand, a single person in an orange saffron top and rust-orange wrap bends forward, reaching down with one hand to touch the sand at the water's edge. Beside them, small pale stones are arranged on the sand in a line of heart-like shapes. He wears an orange knitted cap, rudraksha beads on a necklace, and a deep maroon robe over a yellow-orange lower cloth, with one hand placed on his chest. Sandals are on his feet. Further along the bank, a second person in dark clothing walks away near bare trees and a low embankment, with small offerings scattered on the sand.2014-01-06June 02 20162016-06-02June 04 20162016-06-04A seated man in an orange-saffron cloth sits on the bank of a river, holding up a silver trident (trishul) with his right hand. He has long dark hair, a tilak mark on his forehead, and a gold necklace. Behind him a group of standing people watches: a man in white kurta and orange shawl, a man in a white cap, a woman in a red top with a backpack, and a bearded man in an orange cloth. A young child bathes in the water to the right, and hills and buildings line the far bank under a hazy sky.2006-01-05
