A photograph of a ceremonial rite at an outdoor pavilion. A man with long dark hair and a short beard, wearing a rust-red wrap and a pink-and-white flower garland with gold ornaments, holds a pink flower bunch up beside a white cloth-wrapped pole. Behind him, a crowd of devotees in saffron and orange robes stands, some with orange head cloths. A man at the right in a brown wrap and beaded necklaces holds a silver tray with small vessels. A tassel-decorated canopy is visible above. Whether the central figure is a person cannot be confirmed from appearance, so the role is described as a participant in the rite.
