Night outdoor scene of a Janmashtami dahi handi event: an earthen pot hangs high from a rope strung between two tall orange poles, and a crowd of devotees gathers beneath it. A man in a dark shirt stands in the centre, another person in green-painted clothing reaches upward, and women in saris of red, orange, teal and green watch from the sides. Several people in white and yellow shirts stand in the foreground, and trees and low buildings line the background under a dark sky.
