Three men stand facing the seat: one in a checked shirt and grey trousers, one in white dhoti and shirt with white hair, and one with long dark hair wearing a white kurta and dhoti with an orange shawl over his shoulder, seen from behind. A gold car sits at right with a passenger visible through the window, and marigolds grow at left.

Several men stand around it: one in a white shirt and blue trousers with his back to the camera, another in a white dhoti and shirt, and a man in an orange-saffron cloth beside the seat. A man sits in a silver pickup truck at right, and a marigold plant grows at left. The cloth-draped carved seat is the central object.

A photograph of a rural compound with thatched palm-leaf huts beneath a coconut palm. In the centre, a figure in an orange saffron robe stands at the entrance of a thatched workshop, while a man in white clothes works inside. In the foreground stands a large carved wooden throne-like chair with a scalloped back, next to a wooden bench with carved sides. Stone blocks, rubble and a clay pot lie scattered on the sandy ground, and a sack sits at the right edge. The figure in orange is a sannyasi in saffron robes; the features are not clear enough to confirm identity.

A photograph of an unfinished wooden throne-style chair standing outdoors on bare ground in front of a rough thatched fence. The carved wooden seat has a tall, scalloped back, round armrests and an ornate painted frieze with floral scrolls and rosettes in red, cream and gold tones. A loose carved panel leans against its side. Beside it stands a blue plastic chair, a blue gas cylinder with red hose, and a blue bucket. No people are visible. The image is a workshop or construction photo of the seat, not a depiction of anyone sitting in it.
