A street scene in a village beside a large spreading tree with dense foliage. A white van is parked in the foreground beside parked bicycles and motorcycles. Behind it, an ornately carved decorated float or palanquin with a red cloth drape and carved figures stands among people walking in procession. Several people in white clothes and orange or red shawls walk along the road, and palm trees and simple houses line the background. Advertising posters are pinned to the tree trunk.
