June 30 20082008-06-30Outdoor photograph of a long-haired figure in a blue top with an orange-and-cream shawl being carried in a wooden palanquin up a concrete path beside a river gorge. Four men carry the palanquin on wooden poles: one in a grey hooded top, one in a beige jacket, and a man in a dark blue raincoat holding an orange umbrella who walks alongside. Another man in an orange rain jacket with a camera follows. White and red metal railings line the path, with lush green foliage and a rushing white-water river below.2008-06-30A photograph taken from above of a mountain road lined with green foliage and white and orange railings. A man lies on a wooden palanquin-style litter, wearing a blue kurta and an orange shawl, with rope lashings across his body. Several men carry the litter by its wooden poles, including one in a dark jacket and dark trousers, another in a grey vest over a white shirt, and others in dark clothing and boots. A man in a navy jacket with an orange scarf walks alongside, and an orange cloth hangs from the railing. The setting appears to be a hill path during a pilgrimage journey.2008-06-30 +1 copiesJune 30 20082008-06-30 +1 copiesJune 30 20082008-06-30 +1 copiesA photograph taken from above of a palanquin procession climbing a stone path lined with a white and red railing and dense green foliage. Four men in dark clothes carry a wooden palanquin on poles. Seated on it is a long-haired man in a bright blue kurta and orange dhoti with a gold-coloured shawl, with a red tilak on his forehead. Around him, a man in an orange rain poncho walks behind, another in a navy jacket with an orange scarf holds an orange umbrella, and a man in a blue striped shirt walks ahead. A young man in a blue sweater and a person in an orange raincoat stand at the upper right. The seated figure has distinctive long hair and ceremonial dress, so this is an appearance-based probable Swamiji candidate in a palanquin, carried in procession.2008-06-30June 30 20082008-06-30A man with long, swept-back dark hair and a red bindi sits in a wooden palanquin carried along a stone path beside a metal railing and green foliage. He wears a bright blue kurta over orange trousers and a gold-coloured shawl. Four men carry the chair on wooden poles: two at the front in dark jackets and striped shirt, and two at the rear in a grey jacket and a green sweater. Behind them, a man in a navy sweater and others in orange and white rain gear walk along with a horse. The scene suggests a mountain pilgrimage route. Swamiji (probable): the seated man has long hair, a shawl and orange clothing, consistent with the page's Himalaya Yatra context.2008-06-30A photograph of a mountain path outside a rustic stone-and-tin shelter with a red tiled roof, under dark tarpaulin. A man with long dark hair, wearing a blue ceremonial jacket and orange dhoti, is carried seated on a wooden palanquin chair by several bearers. The bearers wear orange and white garments, dark blue and navy jackets, and one holds an orange umbrella. A pack-horse with a leather saddle stands at right, and a man in a silver rain cap and orange raincoat walks beside. A white-and-orange flag-like cloth hangs from a shelter corner. The figure in the palanquin has distinctive long swept hair and blue-and-gold ceremonial dress, so an appearance-based candidate is visible, though the image is a small distant view and the identity is uncertain.2008-06-30 +1 copiesOutdoor photograph on a hillside path beside a white and red railing and green foliage.
