Outdoor photograph of a long-haired figure in a blue top with an orange-and-cream shawl being carried in a wooden palanquin up a concrete path beside a river gorge. Four men carry the palanquin on wooden poles: one in a grey hooded top, one in a beige jacket, and a man in a dark blue raincoat holding an orange umbrella who walks alongside. Another man in an orange rain jacket with a camera follows. White and red metal railings line the path, with lush green foliage and a rushing white-water river below.

Two carriers wear beige and grey jackets and one wears an orange vest over a blue shirt. Behind them, a pathway rises past white and red metal railings, green trees and a corrugated roof, with several people in orange and saffron clothing and a mule near the top of the path in the background, in a mountainous setting. The carried figure has long dark hair and a yellow-orange shawl draped over the shoulders. The figure's appearance is consistent with the a person description given the orange clothing and long hair, so this is an appearance-based probable identification.2008-06-30 +1 copiesPhotograph taken from above of a man seated in a wooden palanquin carried along a narrow concrete mountain path lined with white and red metal railings, a forested gorge and rushing river below. Four men carry the palanquin with wooden poles on their shoulders; one wears a white shirt with an orange scarf, another a grey jacket and striped sweatshirt, and others dark or grey tops. Behind them are a white-and-red metal railing, green shrubs, boulders, and tree trunks on a wet hillside, typical of the Himalayan yatra route.2008-06-30 +1 copiesJune 30 20082008-06-30 +1 copiesJune 30 20082008-06-30 +1 copiesA photograph of a steep, forested mountain path lined with lush green vegetation and a metal railing on the left. A man with long dark hair, wearing a blue ceremonial jacket and orange dhoti, is carried seated on a wooden palanquin chair by several bearers. The bearers wear orange and white garments, dark blue and navy jackets, and one holds an orange umbrella. A pack-horse with a leather saddle stands at right, and a man in a silver rain cap and orange raincoat walks beside. A white-and-orange flag-like cloth hangs from a shelter corner. The figure in the palanquin has distinctive long swept hair and blue-and-gold ceremonial dress, so an appearance-based candidate is visible, though the image is a small distant view and the identity is uncertain.2008-06-30 +1 copies
