A figure in an orange-red dhoti and bare-shouldered orange wrap, wearing a long gold-beaded necklace, stands at left and offers prasad from a silver plate toward a large saffron-coloured clay Ganesha murti with a red-orange turban and black-painted trunk details. Behind the figure's left shoulder, the orange-and-gold canopy has dangling tassels. Two more people in white clothes and one with an orange garment stand partly visible at the lower left and centre-bottom, with a gold-trimmed white cloth draped at the murti's base. The figure has short dark hair with a bun and a crown-like detail is not visible. The scene reads as a Ganesha Chaturthi offering. a person candidacy is uncertain: the standing figure shows an ornate necklace and orange clothing, but the face and presentation are not distinctive enough to confirm.2012-09-19A man in orange sannyasi-style cloth with a heavy gold bead necklace stands beside a large clay Ganesha murti, adorning it with jewelry and attention. The murti has an orange turban, a red-and-white beaded necklace, gold trim and a white dhoti-like base, and it holds a dark wooden ankusha-like staff. Green leafy trees and a golden arch frame the scene, with red and orange tassels hanging above. A partially visible person in orange stands at the right and another person is seen at the lower left edge. The man is positioned as a priest preparing the deity, and his face is downcast in focus. Ganesh Chaturthi-style worship is suggested by the Ganesha murti being decorated outdoors.2012-09-19September 19 20122012-09-19
