A photograph of an abhishekam being performed on a small gold-toned bronze murti of a standing boy-form figure holding a bowl, set on a lotus-shaped pedestal. A priest in orange-red dhoti and wrap with a coral-beaded necklace and a bracelet pours liquid from a silver vessel over the figure, with liquid droplets flying. Flower petals lie scattered on the stone base, and large gold-toned pillar-like legs of a larger deity statue stand behind. The caption on the image reads Bhikshatanamurthy Abhishekam, Nithyanandeshwara Paramashiva Brahmotsavam - Day 8. No physical audience is visible; the priest's face is not shown.
