Two women sit on the grass beside an orange-painted wall with red trim, under a palm frond on the right. The woman on the left wears white clothes and a dark beaded necklace, holding a steel thali plate with food and a small steel cup. The woman on the right wears a pale pink top and a long light-coloured skirt, holding a steel plate and sitting barefoot. Potted plants and a small window are visible behind them, with a bowl on the ground. Both appear to be sharing a simple meal outdoors.

Most wear white clothing with red shawls draped over their shoulders. In the foreground a woman with blonde hair pulled back sits at left eating from a tray of yellow rice and vegetables. Further back, others sit in similar white and red attire, some eating, and a few stand near a white railing.
