Beside him a younger devotee in orange cloth with a red-and-white forehead mark holds a flame-lit lamp. Another devotee in orange holds a leaf-wrapped offering, and a devotee on the right holds a silver tray of flowers and offerings. Others stand in the background wearing orange dhotis and rudraksha malas. Many shaved-headed boys wear orange dhotis with maroon borders, rudraksha malas, and white or sandalwood forehead marks; some hold a long brass horn. Girls in orange and maroon saris with bindis and malas stand among them, and older women in orange saris are visible at the back. No one clearly presents as the teacher in this frame. Trees and a red-painted pillar frame the scene.2013-07-24August 17 20142014-08-17
