A crowd procession climbs a stone staircase outdoors, with a large colourful ceremonial parasol with yellow tiers and a multicoloured canopy carried above. Central figures in orange-red and saffron robes walk in a line; one holds a long staff topped with a decorative finial, and a man in a white-and-yellow polo shirt with a shoulder bag leads the way. Women in white saris with red borders and red shawls stand on both sides with palms pressed together in greeting. Parked white vans, cars and a blue bus fill the road behind, with onlookers gathered along a wall and a volcanic mountain in the background. Many people are visible, though the count is approximate.
