In the foreground, a girl in an orange top reaches toward a brass plate and kalasha-style vessels, while a girl in a grey top and another in a blue-and-white striped top sit close by. Behind them, rows of girls in pink, orange and white kurtas and women in cream and yellow saris sit on the floor, and a few adults sit on chairs at the back near red-upholstered seating. Many participants wear blue lanyards. Brass lamps, bowls, a gold-coloured shrine structure and a pink-lidded container fill the floor and background. No identifiable a person figure is visible.
