The blue-skinned deity has long black hair, a protruding red tongue, multiple raised arms holding red-tipped implements and a severed-head or yellow object, and a garland of white skulls. She wears a yellow and black patterned lower garment and a gold necklace, and stands on a reclining white figure with long orange hair. A yellow and green arched painted frame surrounds the niche. No people are visible, only the deity murti.2008-06-09Two painted clay statues of the goddess Kali stand in a dim, yellow-plastered shrine niche. The main figure has blue skin, long black hair, a red tongue, a white and yellow flower garland, and gold armbands; she holds a raised curved blade in one hand and a severed yellow head in another. Scattered limbs and a painted body lie on the floor in front. The statues are not living people; a painted label on the wall reads Bhayama Kali. No living people are visible.2008-06-09December 12 20072007-12-12August 03 20092009-08-03December 12 20072007-12-12December 12 20072007-12-12May 29 20122012-05-29 +1 copiesA row of painted clay statues in a roofed open shelter with a yellow wall. On the left, a tall pink figure with a skull garland and a raised sword holds a severed head by the hair. Next to it, a figure with long hair and red-streaked skin stands with a blood-smeared body. A seated figure in yellow dress with a crown-like headdress and a kneeling man with a moustache are in the middle. A blue figure bends forward on the floor at right. Further along, white-and-blue painted thrones or palanquin-like structures hold more figures. The statues depict a violent mythological scene. No living people are visible.2008-06-09
