A bare-chested man in orange dhoti and rudraksha mala bends forward at lower left, hands on the pole. A man in white dhoti and shawl stands centre, and a figure in a saffron-orange robe with a matching orange turban and gold chain stands behind the pole; the appearance is not distinctive enough to confirm identity, so this is a devotee/priest role. Men with white forehead markings, bare chests and rudraksha malas surround the pole, and one man in a white shirt holds a mobile phone. Behind them stands a temple gopuram with ornate tiers under a cloudy sky, with palm fronds at the upper left.2006-09-24July 01 20142014-07-01A crowded outdoor street scene beside a temple. In the centre, a bare-chested man in a white dhoti with a sacred thread stands bowed near a wooden pole, with a garland of yellow and orange marigolds hanging on the left. A man in a white shirt and red-and-white garments leans forward and reaches toward him, while a bald man with a red-brown mala and forehead markings stands at lower left. Many people in white, red and saffron clothing press around, some holding up cameras and phones. A boy in an orange top sits on a cart at right, and saffron-robed figures stand near a temple gopuram with painted deity sculptures. Trees and overhead wires fill the background.2011-01-16A crowded temple-visit scene with a young man in an orange saffron robe and a long gold-beaded necklace at right, smiling and holding a lit oil lamp or flame with his hands near a bouquet of white flowers. Facing him, a bare-chested man with a red-and-white beaded necklace and rudraksha mala reaches forward, while another devotee in a white dhoti with a grey cloth wrap stands at left. Behind them, women in saffron and bright blue sarees and men in white dhotis press close, with a partially visible bearded man in orange at the lower right.2009-01-15January 06 20122012-01-06February 24 20072007-02-24
