Night photo of a large dark black Shiva lingam draped with a multicolour flower garland of yellow, white, pink and purple blossoms, with a silver-plated front panel. On a metal staircase platform at the upper left, a priest in a white silk dhoti and shawl with gold border, wearing a beaded necklace, holds a lit camphor or oil lamp flame during aarti. Two assistants in reddish-orange cloth with gold waist bands stand beside him at the railing. The scene suggests an abhishekam or evening aarti at a lingam.
