A large hall where rows of saffron-robed sannyasi and monks sit cross-legged on the white floor during a ritual. Foreground monks wear orange robes, rudraksha malas, white forehead bands and bare upper bodies with sacred ash marks; several hold small brass pots, bells and open books, and brass plates with lamps, flowers and offerings lie before them on orange and red cloths. Behind them more seated participants in white and orange clothing fill the room, with ceremonial red and saffron drapes and a framed picture on the upper wall. Rows of brass lamps and dishes indicate a puja or homa-style ceremony.
