Outdoor photo of a bamboo frame strung across a bright sky, decorated with clusters of orange, pink, blue and green balloons on both ends. A clay pot hangs from the crossbar on a cord, wrapped with white cloth, a typical pot-breaking setup. Tall coconut palms frame the right and left sides. At the bottom edge, a partially visible man with short dark hair looks upward toward the frame. No ceremonial figure is clearly visible in the scene.

In the foreground, several people in brightly coloured, powder-stained clothing stand near a tall pole with a hanging pot, while a crowd of onlookers in mostly white clothes, sarees and salwar kameez watches. Many onlookers wear white garments and some hold coloured balloons, and a few people in the front are splashed with colour. A white van and a small car are parked behind the crowd. The scene appears to show a Holi-related event, with the pot suspended on a rope above the group.2008-03-22Outdoor photo looking up at a crossed pair of wooden poles and ropes from which several painted terracotta pots hang, each wrapped in white cloth and decorated with blue, green, red and yellow painted shapes. In the foreground, a man in a white shirt and pale pink wrap raises an arm toward a suspended pot, while young men and boys stand below with faces smeared with coloured powder. Several painted clay pots hang from a rope strung between poles, with green and orange balloons nearby. Behind them, a crowd of men and women in white and orange clothing stands along a grey block wall, with a white van and motorbikes parked to the left. Dense crowd, but counted physical people range well beyond twenty.2008-03-22March 22 20082008-03-22Outdoor photograph in a dusty courtyard with palm trees and a low cinder-block wall behind. A tall bamboo frame holds a hanging clay pot strung with colourful balloons (orange, blue, red, green). Several men in white dhotis and white shirts, and some wearing orange shawls, stand around the pot. A woman in a white salwar-style outfit stands at left with long dark hair. Children and women in pink, red and orange saris are scattered in the background, consistent with a Holi celebration with a pot-breaking game. The men's faces are not identifiable from this image, so no candidate is named; the orange-shawled men are described by role only.2008-03-22Outdoor Holi celebration among coconut palms beside a grey block wall, with a crowd of people splashed in bright colours.
