Photograph of a temple sanctum at night showing a large image of Shiva and Parvati seated together on a raised pedestal, decorated with gold ornaments, necklaces and garlands in red, yellow, white and green. Several shaved-headed priests in orange-red and maroon dhotis stand around the altar; one at left holds a lit lamp, and another in a dark robe holds a ritual object. Brass oil lamps stand on either side, and a small brass figure and a shivalingam-like form sit at the base. A white-robed attendant appears at right beside a garlanded statue.
