A photograph of a temple shrine at night showing a Shiva lingam on a black pedestal in front of a golden-crowned deity murti pair adorned with gold jewellery and multicolour flower garlands. Several priests in saffron-brown and maroon dhotis stand at the pedestal, one pouring from a brass vessel while another holds a silver plate and lamp. Two brass oil lamps stand on the left and right, and a small offering tray sits on the lingam base. The stone shrine walls and carved pillars frame the scene. The people are priests performing an abhishekam-style puja.

The two figures wear gold necklaces and crowns, the female figure in a red-pink sari. On the altar in front, a black stone lingam sits on a white base surrounded by flowers. Three priests in saffron-orange and red dhotis stand before the murtis, one holding a silver plate and offering, another with an arm raised in worship. A fire pit area and brass lamps stand at the sides, with a smaller bronze image on the right beside a garlanded attendant figure. This appears to be an abhishekam or puja at the shrine during the night ritual.2015-02-17 +1 copiesPhotograph of a temple shrine during night worship, with a black linga-shaped stone at centre before a large deity murti of Shiva and Parvati seated on a raised dais under a golden arch.
