Outdoor ritual on bare ground in front of a concrete block wall. A seated man in orange-red robes, with long hair and a dark beard, sits on an ornate gold throne with red cushions under a multicoloured fringed canopy, eyes closed, hands folded in his lap. Before him a younger bare-chested boy in orange dhoti and rudraksha mala sits on a striped blanket beside brass puja plates, a kalasha-like vessel, oil lamps, banana leaves and a flower-decorated image. Behind them a standing group of devotees in white dhotis, orange robes and a green sari press their palms together in anjali. Probable Swamiji (probable): the seated figure on the throne wears long swept-back hair, orange-red robes and a crown-like gold throne setting, presented as the central guru receiving devotion.
