Photograph of a grey-haired man in glasses and a yellow-and-white striped shirt with a lanyard, wearing a red tilak on his forehead, holding a flaming piece of dried leaf or coconut husk in both hands. Beside him a younger man in a white t-shirt and jeans watches the flame, with a bracelet on his wrist. Behind them are a decorated cloth-patterned pillar with an elephant motif and draped fabric. Two physical people are visible; no candidate for a person's appearance is present, so the lamp-lighting scene involves ordinary devotees.
