The blessing-giver holds a braided white cord and a gold-coloured object in his other hand. Several other people in white and red shawls stand in the blurred background.

The man wears an orange shawl over a white and green striped shirt and presses his palms together at his forehead in a gesture of receiving blessing. Behind them a woman in orange robes and another person in white stand in a warm-lit hall, with golden ceremonial objects at the left edge. The scene suggests a blessing or Nayana Deeksha-style transmission in an ashram setting. Probable Swamiji cues: long swept-back hair, saffron clothing and rudraksha mala on the seated figure, consistent with a Swamiji (probable) in-person candidate.2014-03-08Indoor photo of a guru placing his right palm on the forehead of a devotee in a warm, softly lit hall.
