A dense crowd of many hundreds of devotees fills a temple courtyard at a gopuram-flanked Shiva temple, seated and standing among bamboo scaffolding wrapped around tall, brightly painted gopurams. Many wear white, saffron and orange garments. In the foreground a white Nandi bull and a small shrine with stone deity murti sit beside pillared mandapas. A tall gopuram rises in the background among trees. No single person can be identified as a candidate for a person from the image.

In the foreground, a white painted stone Nandi bull with colourful green, orange and gold trappings faces the crowd. Behind it, a multi-tiered gopuram covered in painted deity figures rises on the left, and a long covered colonnade runs across the back. The worshippers wear white, yellow, orange, red and pink clothing. No identifiable a person figure is visible in this view.
