A large dark stone Shivalinga is being bathed with water on an outdoor stage. The lingam is wrapped in garlands of marigolds and tuberose in yellow, orange, purple and white, draped in wavy stripes. Three men in saffron and orange-red monastic cloths stand around it: one on the left with hands joined in prayer and a rudraksha mala, a shaven-headed man in the centre with hands joined, and a man on the right in orange with a rudraksha mala pouring liquid from a small vessel during abhishekam. Brass pots stand in front and a small brass deity figure is at the right. Seated devotees fill the stone tiered steps behind the stage.
