A large seated gathering of devotees in a hall, mostly men with bare upper bodies wearing white dhotis and rudraksha malas, many with white ash markings on their chests and arms. They sit on red and maroon mats, hands raised in mudra gestures, while others sit behind them in white and saffron-bordered garments. Brass oil lamps, flower offerings, small plates and a pink container sit on the floor, and backpacks are placed among them. Some participants have long hair and mala beads, and a few women in white saris are seated further back.
