The face is black stone with a red tilak on the forehead, wearing a red and orange striped turban-like wrap. The murti wears a purple garment, layered gold and jewelled necklaces, and a brown rudraksha-style mala across the chest. White jasmine garlands with red roses hang over its shoulders. In the raised hands it holds a drum-like instrument on the left and a flame-shaped object on the right, while the lower left hand is raised in a gesture.2015-08-09November 08 20142014-11-08 +1 copiesA dark stone statue of a seated sage, carved with a serene face and a small red tilak on the forehead, wears a red-orange turban and draped red-orange robe with gold-edged border. Multiple strands of rudraksha beads, some with gold-toned beads, hang across the chest and neck. Garlands of red roses and yellow and purple flowers frame the figure against a green and gold shimmering cloth backdrop. The raised right hand is in a blessing gesture, and the left hand holds a staff or rod, with a small purple flower resting near the lap. The statue is a murti, not a living person, and no people are present.2011-11-18April 08 20122012-04-08November 08 20142014-11-08November 28 20142014-11-28
