Photograph of a crowd of devotees gathered at the edge of a large turquoise-blue rectangular pool at an outdoor ashram venue. In the foreground a man in a beige embroidered kurta with dark rudraksha-style beads and glasses looks to the side, and several women in sarees, including one in pink and a woman in a red-orange sari, stand close by. Beyond the pool, tiered red-tiled stepped seating is lined with rows of saffron-robed attendees, and a red building and palm-like foliage stand in the background. Garlanded flower decorations and red and white bunting line the pool's edge.

Rows of seated devotees fill the stands on the left, many in white and yellow saris, a young child in red held by a woman in a yellow outfit, and men in white dhotis and shirts sitting along the water's edge. Across the tank, a large black Shiva lingam is decorated with marigold garlands on a yellow-and-red garlanded platform, with a flower-covered tiered stage beside it. Red-brick buildings and tall flagpoles stand in the background, and the tank reflects the lingam. The scene suggests a Rudrabhishekam ritual with satsang seating. The monk's features are not clear enough for an identity claim.2016-12-27Wide photo of a large stepped reservoir at an outdoor temple complex, with a tall black Shiva lingam with an offering garland standing in the centre of the water on a raised platform. A black stone Nandi bull sits on the near steps in the foreground, garlanded with marigold chains, and a black speaker sits beside it. Dozens of people in white and saffron clothes sit on the terraced steps and crowd the banks, many in white garments and some women in red or orange saris. Several devotees bathe and wade in the water near the lingam, while a few stand in the reservoir as others watch from above. Terraced seating surrounds the pool, lined with potted plants and a red brick building behind.2013-07-22July 22 20132013-07-22Wide view of a large open-air stepped amphitheatre around a rectangular water tank with a central raised platform and a lingam-like structure at its far end. Rows of seated participants fill the terraces, many wearing white dhotis, some bare-chested with sacred threads and red and white markings, and several in orange saffron robes. Along the near railing, dozens of black stone lingam-shaped pedestals sit with small brass pots and bowls, and a figure with long braided hair in orange robes sits at the front left. Red and orange flags line the edges of the tank, and a red brick building with greenery and white flowers frames the upper left.2017-07-31July 22 20132013-07-22July 22 20132013-07-22Photograph of a seated person seen from behind on the left, wearing a rust-orange cloth, a red and yellow flower garland across the shoulder, gold armlet, gold earring and a gold hair ornament in a bun. They gaze across a large turquoise pool toward a tiered stone seating area with rows of red-orange seats and a raised platform on the right. The platform holds a tall black Shiva lingam draped with a colourful garland-decorated cloth, with banana plants and a white ladder rising beside the pool. A glowing orange trident-like emblem hangs on the far wall. Overcast sky above.2013-07-22Large outdoor ceremony at an amphitheatre-style sunken ceremonial pool with stone steps. A crowd of many hundreds sits on tiered red seating and along the pool's edge, most in white, cream and pastel clothing, some with red and orange garlands. In the foreground, several women in white and a woman wearing a red beaded necklace sit close to the water, some with palms pressed together. On the right, an ornately decorated raised structure draped in yellow, orange and red floral garlands stands at the pool edge beside a red-carpeted platform with a seated figure and small ritual offerings.
