Wide photo of a large stepped reservoir at an outdoor temple complex, with a tall black Shiva lingam with an offering garland standing in the centre of the water on a raised platform. A black stone Nandi bull sits on the near steps in the foreground, garlanded with marigold chains, and a black speaker sits beside it. Dozens of people in white and saffron clothes sit on the terraced steps and crowd the banks, many in white garments and some women in red or orange saris. Several devotees bathe and wade in the water near the lingam, while a few stand in the reservoir as others watch from above. Terraced seating surrounds the pool, lined with potted plants and a red brick building behind.
