Many seated figures wear saffron and orange robes, some in deep red, while others wear white dhotis and white shawls, several with shaved heads. Some hold small lamps or flower offerings, with marigold petals scattered along the water's edge. A figure in white at the far left appears to sit higher on a platform, but the scene does not clearly show who is leading the ceremony. Warm lights reflect on the water.2013-12-26December 26 20132013-12-26December 26 20132013-12-26December 26 20132013-12-26May 22 20172017-05-22 +1 copiesJuly 17 20172017-07-17 +1 copiesNovember 20 20132013-11-20November 22 20132013-11-22A group of women in white saris with gold borders sit on a tiered brick staircase lined with terracotta pots of green plants. A woman standing in the centre bends forward holding a silver plate with white offerings, while others seated on the steps have their hands cupped and open, receiving items. A woman in white sits above on the upper step, wearing a rudraksha mala. At the far left edge, a bald man in an orange robe sits on the steps, and a mobile phone rests on the step below the seated women.2015-11-16
