Two people in saffron-orange robes kneel with their backs to the camera at the lower left, one with a head wrap and one with long dark hair, both wearing flower garlands, hands folded in worship. A small brass kalasha with a garland stands on a red rock base in front of a plaque reading Dakshinamurthy Shrine, with an oil lamp and flowers. Trees and dry earth surround the shrine outdoors.2008-12-27October 07 20062006-10-07July 23 20062006-07-23December 16 20102010-12-16A seated man in an orange saffron robe and long dark swept-back hair sits with eyes closed in meditation beside a shrine under a large tree. He wears a rudraksha mala with brown beads. Behind him stands a silver-framed arched niche housing a black-faced deity murti draped in white and gold cloth, with a crown, garlands of red flowers and a shield-like backdrop. The murti rests on a mound of red-painted rocks ringed by a white-and-black stone border. Dappled sunlight and green foliage surround the outdoor scene.2006-12-09A photograph of a seated man in saffron-orange robes and a long rudraksha mala, sitting in front of a large silver arched shrine. Inside the arch stands a black-faced deity murti with white and gold garments, a jeweled necklace, and red and white flower garlands, with a gold-and-white vestment at its base. The seated man has long, swept-back dark hair and is facing toward the murti. The shrine stands on a raised red-painted rocky base edged with white and black inlay, under a leafy tree. The seated man's identity is uncertain from appearance alone, so he is described only by his role and attire.2006-12-09Outdoor photograph beneath a large spreading tree showing a black stone murti of a deity seated on a dark pedestal inside a silver arch, decorated with garlands of orange and yellow flowers and a white cloth. In front is a raised mound covered in red and white material encircled by a bordered path. To the right, a person in an orange robe with a gold-coloured shawl stands barefoot with long dark hair and a beaded necklace. On the left, a figure in white dhoti and orange shawl stands near the shrine, and another person in white dhoti with bare upper body appears at the right edge. A hanging vine and a white pole rise in the foreground.2006-12-27July 07 20092009-07-07November 05 20132013-11-05June 24 20112011-06-24
